My journey to becoming a language teacher
Ever since childhood I've been passionate about languages. My mother learned German as a second language and made me aware of its challenges early on. I love literature and foreign languages and dive deeply into questions from these fields. During my teacher training I acquired the tools to share this enthusiasm with others.
My work as a German teacher really began when I joined the Tandem language school in Cologne in 2022. There I learned what it means to teach adults as equals and with joy, as part of a wonderful team. Exchanging ideas in international groups is, again and again, a valuable learning experience for me.
My qualifications
Master of Education
In 2024 I successfully completed my Master's in teaching for grammar and comprehensive schools.

I have taught in group and private courses, online and in person, at the following institutions:

- Bielefeld University
Goethe certificate
The Goethe certificate not only allows me to teach German as a second/foreign language to adults, it also earned me BAMF accreditation to teach in integration courses.
